I was given an assignment to make someone a curtain. 

The first person that came to mind was Gert. I had recently seen him and he had told me he suffered from a burnout. I wondered if it would be possible to make a curtain that would lift him up. Thus I asked him if he would be interested to join me on a quest to find the right ingredients for his curtain.

While we digged for clues, many stories came to the surface, from which some are captured in this book. Our search eventually led us to the house of his mother, who had passed away two years before.
