BETWEEN ME AND YOU

Hi, I’m Nina —a multidisciplinary, community artist based in Amsterdam—welcome to my website!

Through my work, I delve into the deep interconnections between humans and non-humans within our shared environment. How do we touch, support, confuse, nurture, feel, change, hurt, heal, carry, and influence one another? Most importantly, how can we learn to thrive together in alignment with the Earth’s gifts, ensuring a regenerative future for generations to come?

I believe life unfolds in connection—at the meeting points where our worlds overlap. To explore this space, I work with a variety of media, including living beings (plants, microbes, soil, humans), 2nd-hand textiles, audio, and more. These explorations often take shape as site-specific installations, hands-on workshops, interventions in public spaces, ritualistic performances, films, and publications.

My practice invites you to imagine new ways of being, rooted in reciprocity, care, and the understanding that we’re all part of a much larger, interwoven story.
